Service Description

mpps.io provides a cryptographic attestation service for machine transactions. The service accepts SHA-256 content hashes, signs them with a hardware security module (HSM), and stores the resulting attestation records in immutable storage.

What We Are

An attestation service that provides cryptographic proof that a specific content hash was submitted at a specific point in time. Each attestation is HSM-signed (FIPS 140-2 Level 3) and stored in AWS S3 Object Lock (Compliance Mode) for 10 years.

What We Are NOT

• Not a legal notary service — attestations are not legally binding notarizations
• Not a content validator — we do not evaluate, verify, or endorse the content behind any hash
• Not a financial guarantee — attestations do not guarantee the value, delivery, or quality of any transaction
• Not a dispute resolution service — we provide evidence, not adjudication

Acceptable Use

• Do not use the service for any illegal purpose under applicable law
• Do not abuse the service through excessive requests, automated attacks, or circumvention of rate limits
• Do not misrepresent attestations as legal certifications, financial guarantees, or content endorsements

Rate Limits

Free tier: 10 attestations per hour. No registration required.

Paid tier: $0.01 per attestation via MPP (Machine Payment Protocol). Coming soon.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall GlideLogic Corp. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the service.

Maximum aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user to mpps.io in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Open Source

The mpps.io source code is available under the MIT License. The attestation protocol, API specification, and verification logic are open and auditable.

Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
